Exercise Overview
The NEWF SANDBAG Squat Clean Exercise demonstration video.
The Set-Up
1) Feet shoulder width apart.
2) SANDBAG in front of feet.
3) Grab both neutral grip handles (top of SANDBAG) palms facing each other.
4) Hips are back, bodyweight is in your heels.
5) Back flat. core tight. head up. shoulders pulled back. arms fully extended.
Start to Finish
1) Explode up, pushing through your heels (maintain upper body form)
2) Thrust hips forward.
3) As bag gets to hips, shrug shoulders up and pull SANDBAG up with your arms.
4) As the SANDBAG continues up, squat under the SANDBAG and shoot your elbows under, preparing for the catch.
5) Catch the SANDBAG on your shoulders and squat down.
6) Stand all the way up.
7) Control SANDBAG back to start position.
