The hang clean and press exercise is an amazing compound movement for building explosive power, brute strength, and overall athletic output. To start the movement, hold the sandbag at knee height. Next you will complete a hang clean, catching the sandbag in a front rack position on your shoulders. From the front rack position, push the sandbag over your head to a locked out position. To complete the movement, lower the sandbag back to your shoulders and then drop it to the hang position.
